gosh dang exporting this was a pain. this is in 30 fps and harmony just decides to make it 24 forever so i had to do some magic in premiere to fix it. planned on doing the whole clip and not cutting it off but its 5:35 am and im dying
so back in october when the mlb playoffs were going on, pitcher justin verlander had a commercial running constantly about how he was obsessed with the number 3, in reference to 3 strikes. since the red sox were facing the astros (justin's team), i thought it would be perfect to practice my civil duty as a red sox fan and rotoscope a home run hit off of him. it ended up scoring 3 runs. life imitates art.
holy wow it’s a video. I focused on the animation principle of “timing” because believe it or not, i didn’t actually solve that cube in 2 seconds flat. i had other ideas also involving rubik’s cubes but the end result turned out to be about 5% stop motion. not the best percentage when you’re making a stop motion video.
